Design-Build IT Infrastructure Improvements at Fort Hamilton

Due to an aging infrastructure that included failed cabling, pathways and manholes, Fort Hamilton was not able to support the increased demand for system capacity and the speed of data transmissions necessary to meet Garrison and Tenant mission requirements. BANC3 developed and executed a complete solution to Fort Hamilton's required improvements. This included assessment, engineering, value engineering, scope development, telecom design, pricing, construction, construction management and quality control. To determine the scope of the upgrade, we conducted site inspections to analyze the condition of the fort's telecommunications infrastructure and identified and prioritized the areas to receive new fiber optic cable. Through our findings, BANC3 developed the final scope of work and technical specifications for project execution.
