Location: Princeton, New Jersey
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary function is identifying, targeting, developing, and winning business opportunities in state and local markets in and around New Jersey, with an emphasis on winning new projects and building and maintaining strong customer relationship.
Developing relationships with government agencies and prime contractors.
Analyze the competition and create winning strategies.
Responsible for identifying and closing public consulting engineering opportunities in line with the company's strategic growth in infrastructure projects associated with roadways/site, land survey, environmental, and construction management sectors.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
This position requires experience in sales and business development with a background in consulting engineering. Excellent verbal skills are necessary as telemarketing/cold calling is required.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with at least 10 years of progressive business development experience and a solid track record for selling services in the state/local marketplace.
